"You made a difference in their lives"
Dear Mary & John,
I had not received a newsletter since last fall so I went to The Tropics web site and read the sad news.
This must have been a very difficult decision. Your dedication and devotion to the birds in your care was tireless and complete. You made a difference in their lives. "Buds" such as Oscar, Kiwi, Beaner and Sweet Pea, to name a few, spent their last years in a safe and loving environment before they flew free over the "Rainbow Bridge."
I have kept all your newsletters beginning with the first one in Spring, 1996. In re-reading them I am filled with joy, laughter, tears and hope and sadness.
Thank you for all you have done and will continue to do in their behalf. I wish both of you all the support from family and friends that you need during this period in your lives. May God bless you and keep you strong.
