China is a truly wonderful bird!!!! He just looooooves my husband, who spoils him. And I am thrilled to add that he's my baby also. He was unsure of me at first and I assumed it was because you always put the medicine on him. He kept waiting for me to do it to him also. I've been giving him palm nut oil and some other things like that and he has really stopped attacking himself. Of course, he's getting a lot of petting and grooming, which helps also. He still has the scab, but it is drying up it looks like. I'm watching it closely to see if it's shrinking or not. He stays on his cage top all day long and goes in for the night. Right now he's got a bunch of new feathers coming in which need a lot of attention from us to his great joy and I'm giving him showers. He hated them pretty bad at first, but is getting better used to them. Also, he has picked up a lot of the other bird phrases that he can hear in the other room. We haven't gotten tired of "I love you" yet. LOL!!!!
