Rufus
Rufus is an absolutely wonderful, perfectly normal, playful, verbal, expressive wild caught Yellow Nape Amazon. After living with his previous owner 12 years, he was given up because this gentleman of 81 years old still works full time running his business. He felt that Rufus needed more attention than he could give.
Rufus has fallen head over heals in love with us, and expresses it with very animated communication by fanning his tail, pinning his eyes and speaking very loud and clear. He greets us with "Hi, how are ya!", "Boo hoo hoo, you hurt me!", "Hello!", "Meow", etc.
