Toby
Toby, a female umbrella cockatoo, came to us at age 2. Her owners initially went to a breeder to purchase an African gray. None were available, so they purchased Toby instead. It is not known whether they chose her or were talked into getting her. Nevertheless, the owners never lost the desire for a gray. Therefore, back to the breeder they went, for their gray. Within a year, Toby was shoved into a corner and forgotten.
Toby arrived here very loving, but a screamer. Within no time, she was calm, still loving and going to outreach programs with us.
